Good Reason

In my twenties, like a lot of people, I was just trying to figure life out while having fun. On the outside, everything seemed good, but deep down, I was in a dark place I couldn’t seem to escape. I was caught up with the wrong crowd, partying every weekend, making bad decisions, and heading down the wrong path.

I always believed in God, but I never really took my faith seriously—until I hit a breaking point and told myself, “Enough is enough.” I felt lost, but my best friend suggested I meet a pastor in Manitoba. That one conversation changed everything. I started reading the Bible, listening to worship music, and slowly, my life began to shift. My surroundings changed, the people I spent time with changed, and for the first time in a long time, I felt like I was on the right path.

What I’ve learned is that no matter how tough life gets, you have to keep faith—whether in God or whatever higher power you believe in. Even in the darkest moments, there’s always hope. Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing about my past because those struggles shaped me into who I am today. God isn’t breaking you; He’s building you.

If you’re going through hard times, just know you’re not alone. I’m sharing my story because I hope it encourages someone to keep pushing forward. Life isn’t easy, but every challenge, every setback—it’s all happening for a GOOD REASON.
